She believes that everyone deserves a funeral and that life is worthy of being memorialized. Her goal is to provide a personalized service of comfort and hope to reflect and honor the life of a loved one. She is a life member of Beta Sigma Phi, Calgary - Laureate Zeta Chapter and Past Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star in Calgary.

In 1999 Carollyne was appointed as an Alberta Marriage Commissioner and since that time has written and published a wedding resources manual.
